Next Generation Performing Arts Camp is a week-long residential camp targeting students aged 13-18 who have a passion for the performing arts. We offer tracks in Music Theatre, Strings Performance, and Collaborative Piano with faculty drawn from across the United States. Our faculty combines classroom education, rehearsals and performances to aid the students in honing their skills and building lifelong friendships. Students choosing to participate in the Music Theatre track can expect training in areas of makeup, dance, improv, and acting which will culminate in the performance of a full length musical demonstrating their skills. Students in the Strings Performance and Collaborate Piano track will rehearse orchestra, chamber music, and solo pieces mixed with classroom learning on topics as diverse as polyrhythms, the physics of sound, and how to manage a career as a gig worker before performing a full concert at the end of the week. We stay busy. We have fun. And we make art. Come join us!
