Welcome to Cameron University!


We are excited to have you as part of the Aggie family!

Follow the tasks below to complete your enrollment and prepare for your first semester.

Steps to complete your enrollment

Our Cameron University account gives you access to AggieAccess, CU email, blackboard, and more. 

 With AggieAccess, you can do the following:

  • Check grades, view your enrollment schedule, and review your transcript
  • View current charges and payments
  • Modify your personal information
  • Check your student email
  • View campus events, class schedules and announcements
  • Check financial aid status and awards

To begin using your CU account:

  • Locate your CU Username in your personal (non-CU) email account
  • Activate your account with Aggie Reset
  • Set up your password and recovery options

Tip: Check your CU email regularly.  Your CU email is the university's primary method of communication with you.

Your Account Information/Login to Aggie Reset:

You should have received your username and temporary password to your personal (non-CU) email address. 

Your username is the first initial of your first name, followed by the first initial of your last name and your student ID number (do not use the leading zeros).  For example, km123456@cameron.edu.

You must register for Aggie Reset and change this temporary password before accessing your student email and other CU accounts.  

To register and change your password, complete the following steps:

  • Visit Aggie Reset.
  • Select 'Login' and enter your username and temporary password.
  • Log in and under Enrollment, complete the following:
    • Add Email: Enter an alternate (personal) email address that you regularly check. This email will be used to send password reset instructions if needed.
    • Security Questions and Answers: Set up your security questions to help verify your identity.  
    • SMS Verification: Enter your mobile phone number. You will receive a text message to complete the enrollment process.
  • Change Your Password
    • Once fully enrolled in MFA, click on the tab labeled 'Change Password' near the top of the screen. 
    • Review ITS Password Guidelines to ensure your new password meets the requirements.

Access Your Accounts

You will use your CU email account to login to the following CU accounts:

  • Aggie Access (log in with username - do NOT include the @cameron.edu).
  • Blackboard (log in with username@cameron.edu).
  • Student email (log in with username@cameron.edu).
  • Free Office 365 download (log in with username@cameron.edu and password).
  • Campus computer login (log in on any campus computer login with username and password).

Student Campus Email

Login

  • Cameron enforces a 120-day password expiration policy for students. Passwords not changed within 120 days will expire. You will receive notification in your student email account 12 days before your password expires, giving you time to update through Aggie Reset.
  • Your username format:  First initial of first name + last name initial + student ID number (no leading zeros)  
  • Example: km123456@cameron.edu
  • Need help?

Add Student Email to Your Device (Optional)

Complete these steps after confirming you can log in to your student email:

  1. Download and install the Outlook app from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
  2. Open the Outlook app.
  3. Tap ADD ACCOUNT.
  4. Enter your CU email address: (for example, km123456@cameron.edu)
  5. Tap CONTINUE.
  6. When prompted:
    1. Password: Same as AggieAccess
    2. Enable ADVANCED SETTINGS
    3. Server: webemail.cameron.edu
    4. Domain: cameron.edu
    5. Username: Same as AggieAccess
  7. Tap Sign In.

Remember, filing is free!

Veterans Affairs Benefits

  • If you are entitled to Veterans Affairs benefits, stop by the Veterans Affairs Office to initiate benefits each semester before enrolling.  

If you plan to live on campus:

  1. Explore CU's residence halls and Cameron Village.
  2. Complete the housing application and contract.
  3. For more information, visit the CU Student Housing and Residence Life.
  4. Pay the housing deposit to secure your space.

Cameron University supports new students through two key programs designed to help them transition from admission to to being fully prepared to begin college.

Enrollment Day

  • Meet with an academic advisor
  • Register for classes
  • Answer any questions
  • After admission, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete a short form and register for an Enrollment Day session. Multiple sessions are available.
  • If you are fully admitted but did not receive an email, please contact orientation@cameron.edu

New Student Orientation

Orientation sessions are held later in the summer, closer to the start of classes.

These sessions cover topics such as:

  • Adjusting to college life
  • Engaging in campus life
  •  Working with professors
  • Succeeding as a Cameron student.
  • Additional details are provided during your Enrollment Day.

Cameron University Academic Advisors help you choose courses, review degree requirements, and build your class schedule. 

For your first semester, you will meet with an academic advisor as part of your Enrollment Day. For future semesters, you should schedule an appointment with your assigned departmental academic advisor.

Cameron University Student Accounts offers a convenient place to handle various student-related tasks. Services include the following:

  • Student account payments
  • Account and billing information
  • Student parking permits
  • Student CU ID cards
  • LATS bus passes
  • Commuter meal plan payments
  • Departmental deposits

Pay Tuition or Set Up a Payment Plan

To pay tuition, you can either visit the Student Accounts office in person or visit the Bill Payment section of AggieAccess where you can:

  • Pay your balance in full
  • Enroll in a payment plan

Make sure you review deadlines on the Academic Calendar to avoid late fees or dropped classes!

  • Purchase textbooks through the CU Bookstore online or in person
  • Explore campus using the campus map and virtual tour
  • Check your CU email for instructor messages
  • Download any required apps (Blackboard, AggieAccess, Office 365)

Make the most of your Cameron experience!  Welcome to your new community; engage, connect, and make it yours.

Make sure that the Office of Admissions receives:

  • Official high school transcripts or final college transcripts
  • Any required placement scores (ACT,SAT, etc.)

Check the status of your documents in the CU Admissions Portal.
