Student, faculty, staff & the community are invited to the Lawton Farmer's Market as the CU Aggie Club & Biology Club will offer a wonderful selection of Aggie grown plants over the next several weeks. On April 4, the Biology Club will be selling a variety of houseplants. Plants will include (but are not limited to) pothos, philodendron, hoya, dracaena, succulents, sansevieria, and more. Some of these beautiful plants will be featured in hand-painted pots donated by Dr. Dana Lee, Associate Professor in the Department of Agriculture, Biology, and Health Sciences.
On April 11, 18, & 25, the Aggie Club will be selling a variety of vegetable plants including bell peppers, sugar snap peas, cucumbers, several tomato varieties, and more.
While you're there, be sure to ask the Aggie Club about a chance to win a side of premium beef. Only 100 tickets per side will be sold (at $50 each) for the Black Angus Beef, which is non-GMO, antibiotic free and raised by the club. Pork lovers can also inquire about how to order the club's quality Black and Gold-brand pork.

Industry Tour at Townsquare Media

The Student Enrichment Center has coordinated this event with Townsquare Media. Students will be able to learn about potential career paths in marketing and radio while getting an inside look at the inner workings of an advertising agency and radio station. Students who want to attend will need to fill out a T-8 Voluntary Assumption of Risk and Informed Consent Form and turn it into the Student Enrichment Center (Nance-Boyer 2075) by Friday, March 27th. An FFA Interscholastic Competition (FFIC) is an event where high school agricultural education students gather to compete in academic and skill-based contests related to agriculture. C.A.S.T. for Kids

The CU Education Department has teamed up with C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation to host a free fishing experience for kids ages 6-21 who have disabilities. This event enables children with special needs and their caretakers to come together with community volunteers for a fun day of fishing. Space is limited to 40 participants and pre-registration is required - see registration link below. Children must have a parent or guardian stay with them for the entirety of the event. Family is welcome to attend lunch and the awards ceremony that ends the day. Volunteers are also needed - especially experienced anglers with basic knowledge who can work one-on-one with youngsters and help set up fishing tackle. Additional volunteers are needed to help with event set-up and clean-up, registration, and preparing and serving lunch. Student, faculty, staff & the community are invited to the Lawton Farmer's Market as the CU Aggie Club & Biology Club will offer a wonderful selection of Aggie grown plants over the next several weeks. On April 4, the Biology Club will be selling a variety of houseplants. Plants will include (but are not limited to) pothos, philodendron, hoya, dracaena, succulents, sansevieria, and more. Some of these beautiful plants will be featured in hand-painted pots donated by Dr. Dana Lee, Associate Professor in the Department of Agriculture, Biology, and Health Sciences. On April 11, 18, & 25, the Aggie Club will be selling a variety of vegetable plants including bell peppers, sugar snap peas, cucumbers, several tomato varieties, and more. While you're there, be sure to ask the Aggie Club about a chance to win a side of premium beef. Only 100 tickets per side will be sold (at $50 each) for the Black Angus Beef, which is non-GMO, antibiotic free and raised by the club. Pork lovers can also inquire about how to order the club's quality Black and Gold-brand pork.
