The relationship between a healthy workforce and business profitability will be the focus of a panel discussion sponsored this month by the Bill W. Burgess Jr. Business Research Center. The forum, "The Economic Impact of a Healthy Workforce,” begins at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, in the Mary Lou & W. Carey Johnson Auditorium, located in Cindy Ross Hall at Cameron University.
Cameron University will host its fourth annual CU Giving Day on Thursday, April 16, with a goal of securing 285 donors during the 24-hour fundraising event.
The Chisholm Trail Arts Council in Duncan will present “The Full Circle,” a special exhibition showcasing the works of Cameron University art instructor Alyssa Beth Cox, along with three other artists who influenced her career. Cameron University’s Department of Art, Music and Theatre Arts will celebrate the retirement of Dr. Gregory Hoepfner after 25 years of service to the university with a special concert featuring his compositions, performances by students, alumni, and community ensembles. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on April 21 in the University Theatre.

The Cameron University Art Guild invites the public to celebrate creativity and connection at its inaugural “Spring Fling: An Evening of Fine Arts” on Thursday, April 16. The event takes place from 6-8 p.m. in the courtyard of the Louise D. McMahon Fine Arts Complex located in the 200 block of University Drive. The event is free and open to the public.
Members of The Writer’s Studio, a student organization at Cameron University, are building resumes and gaining experience, thanks to a project conducted in conjunction with the Lawton Arts and Humanities Council.
