Cameron student researchers present at 26th annual Oklahoma Research Day

Cameron University was well-represented at Oklahoma Research Day, with 27 Aggies joining more than 650 student scholars from 18 institutions on the campus of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

The 2026 Research Day was a continuance of the statewide conference held each spring for the past 26 years. Considered the premier event celebrating student and faculty research, creative and scholarly activities, it brought together students from all backgrounds and academic interests.

“Silver Linings: Research Illuminating a Brighter Future” was the conference theme. Molecular biologist and educator Dr. Raven Baxter, known widely as “Raven the Science Maven,” delivered the keynote lecture. Afterwards, attendees presented their research findings and engaged in discussion with fellow students and faculty.

The research was divided among several categories: business administration, education and professional studies, fine arts and design, forensic science, health professions, liberal arts, and mathematics and science.
