The Department of Chemistry, Physics and Engineering will host the two-day camp from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on July 29-30 in the Sciences Complex on Cameron’s Lawton campus. Only a limited number of campers will be accepted.
Nine cadets in Cameron University's Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program have received their branch assignments. The cadets received commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army during an afternoon ceremony before being presented their degrees at Cameron’s Commencement on May 8. Maj. Gen. Hope Rampy, commanding general of the U.S. Army Human Resources Command and a graduate of Cameron University herself, provided keynote remarks at the commissioning ceremony.
Cameron University has announced the permanent appointments of Dr. Edris Montalvo and Jennifer Ellis as chairs of the Department of Social Sciences and the McMahon School of Business, respectively. Both had been overseeing their departments in an interim capacity for the past year.
