Employers interested in recruiting employees, interns and volunteers are invited to participate in Cameron University’s Red River Career Expo. The annual career fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, from 3-6 p.m. in the Aggie Rec Center on CU’s Lawton campus. Employers from all career fields are encouraged to register.
Cameron University has announced the President’s and Dean’s honor lists for the Fall 2025 semester.
To make either honor list, students must be enrolled fill time. President’s List honorees must have maintained a straight-A (4.0 grade point) average for the semester. The Dean’s List requires a 3.00-3.99 grade point average.
Cameron University’s music program invites high school seniors, current CU students and transfer students to audition for music scholarships. Auditions will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Music Building, located on the east side of campus. Auditions are open to non-music majors as well as music majors.
Two Cameron University alumni whose degrees have taken them into the fields of energy and environmental operations will return to their alma mater Feb. 13. Dr. Michael Landoll and Jeff Dorrell will share their views on “green chemistry,” the design of chemical processes and products that minimize the impact of hazardous substances on the environment.
Cameron University has announced it intends to expand its educational offerings with new degrees in mechanical engineering and agriculture – a strategy designed to meet an ongoing need for trained employees in high demand fields in the region.

Veterans, active service members and dependents who have questions about their VA benefits can get assistance from representatives of key veterans organizations who will be on-site next week in Lawton at Cameron University.
The implications of this new technology will be the focus of “Being Human in the Age of AI,” Cameron University’s 13th academic festival that will be presented during the 2026-2027 academic year.
