Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs reaffirms accreditation of Cameron University business degree programs


Accreditation of degree programs offered by the Cameron University Department of Business has been reaffirmed by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Accreditation by ACBSP certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business degrees and programs offered through Cameron University meet the organization’s rigorous educational standards.


Dakota Kaus joins Cameron University-Duncan as director


Dakota Kaus has joined Cameron University as the director of CU-Duncan, stepping into the shoes of longtime director Susan Camp, who will retire at the end of June. Kaus comes to Duncan from Empire Public Schools, where she served as assistant principal for the middle school and high school following five years as a teacher.


Cameron announces Spring 2023 honor rolls


Cameron University has announced the President’s and Dean’s honor lists for the Spring 2023 semester. To make the President’s Honor Roll, undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time (carrying at least 12 hours of classes) and maintain a straight A average (4.0). The Dean’s Honor Roll requires a B average (3.00-3.99).


Cameron University summer art camps develop creativity


The Cameron University art program will host two summer camps for children, with multiple sessions available. Creative Expressions: Art in the Afternoon 2023 is geared toward children ranging from age 6 to 12, and the Fine Arts Summer Art Institute is for children age 13 to 18. Cameron University/RSU education students inducted into Kappa Delta Pi education honor society


Three students from the Cameron University education programs at Rogers State University have been accepted into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi requires high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession. Only those who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions are granted membership.

Only those who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions are granted membership.
