Student Office Assistant - Academic Advising Center
The Academic Advising Center is looking for a Student Office Assistant for the Summer, who is willing to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. Hours will be flexible according to your class schedule and will be dependent upon the needs of the office. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Face to face interaction with customers
• Answering and returning phone calls
• Responding to emails
• Making appointments for advisors
• Filing, shredding, scanning
• Other duties as assigned
Student Office Night Worker - Office of Events & Activities (MCC)
The Office of Events & Activities at Cameron University’s Lawton Campus is seeking a Student Office Night Worker who is able to work 15-20 hours per week, during the evening and weekends hours. Duties include, but not limited to: answering phone calls, taking messages, assisting with audio/visual setup, assisting with events occurring in the MCC, welcoming people to the facility, and general building supervision. This position is located in the McMahon Centennial Complex.
Tutor
The Cameron Tutoring Center is seeking new tutors. Hours are flexible and depend on your class schedule. Tutor may work up to 20 hours per week. Duties include working closely with students to provide both face-to-face and virtual assistance with the subject matter, keeping accurate records of tutoring sessions, maintaining files, answering the telephone, responding to emails, and scheduling. The tutor facilitates learning as a guide and coach to assist students in becoming successful, independent learners.
Student Receptionist - Duncan Campus
The Duncan Campus is currently looking for a well-rounded, qualified individual to serve as Student Office Receptionist 10 to 15 hours per week. The Student Office Receptionists will work directly with the Administrative Assistant and office staff to perform a variety of tasks connected to serving the front counter and the office.
Summer Resident Assistant 26-27
Cameron University is seeking dedicated and reliable Summer Resident Assistants to support the Summer Housing Program from May 11th to August 10th. This student-focused position offers the opportunity to develop valuable customer service, leadership, and administrative skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Student Office Worker - Computing and mathematical sciences
The Cameron University Department of Computing & Mathematical Sciences is seeking a student office assistant. This student will work directly with the Administrative Assistant and office staff to perform a variety of tasks. Duties will include running errands, photocopying, answering the phone, taking messages, and other duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the department.
The position will offer 10 - 20 hours per week. Hours will be flexible according to your class schedule and will depend on the needs of both department offices.
Resident Assistant 26-27
The Resident Assistant (RA) position is an integral part of Student Housing and Residence Life (SHRL) at Cameron University. RAs are responsible for enhancing the quality of life in the residence halls by fostering community, providing academic support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. The RA position requires individuals who are flexible, responsible, and capable of handling both administrative tasks and leadership duties, as well as supporting residents' personal growth and academic success. RAs create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages cooperative living, independence, and positive student experiences.
Art Teacher and registrar - art, music, & theatre arts
The Department of Art, Music, and Theatre Arts is looking for a program registrar and art teacher to work in the Summer Visual Art Programs for 20 hours per week during the months of May (May 6 - 10 and 13 - 17), June and / or July. This position is a temporary position for the summer only, but a student who achieves success on the job may be considered for employment in successive summer camp sessions if openings become available.
