Prospective students invited to Cameron University’s Fall Preview Day

High school students and their parents are invited to Cameron University’s Fall Preview Day, an informational event for prospective college students that will provide a jam-packed look at the admissions process, campus life, financial assistance, degree programs and what it means to be a Cameron Aggie in one setting. The multi-faceted event is set for Thursday, November 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

““Fall is a great time to explore our beautiful campus,” says Brenda Dally, Director of Admissions. “Cameron University’s Fall Preview Day is an opportunity for anyone who is interested in finding out if they can reach their educational goals here on our campus. This is a day for students and their families to get a closer look at our campus and gain information that can help them make decisions about the next step in their educational journey. We believe Cameron University is a hidden gem in southwest Oklahoma with degree programs for almost any student’s path. Along with our small class sizes, students will receive the individual attention that our ‘family’ campus has to offer. Our staff and faculty are committed to preparing students for their careers and opportunities after they earn their diplomas.”

Fall Preview Day starts with on-site check-in from 9:30 in the University Theatre, where Cameron President John McArthur will welcome guests at 10 am.

Prospective students and their families will then be guided on a campus tour that includes housing options as well as other areas on campus that provide Cameron students with positive learning experiences. There will be an option to sign up for a financial assistance question and answer forum as well.

Following the campus tours, attendees will assemble in the Aggie Rec Center, where they can explore different degree programs with representatives from Cameron’s academic units. CU offers almost 50 distinct degree programs, many of which offer different concentrations within an academic field.

Fall Preview Day guests will learn about Cameron’s various student organizations, which provide opportunities for students to be actively engaged in campus and community activities.

“We believe we have amazing opportunities to offer prospective students here at Cameron University,” says Dally “Cameron University is a great place to receive an affordable and quality education white having the benefit of a campus that supports and encourages their Aggie family.”
