Cameron University’s Office of Campus Life has announced the recipients of its annual student awards. Ten juniors and seniors received the Top Aggie Award and were selected based on excellence in leadership, community service, campus involvement and academics
Named as Top Aggies were:
Detroit, Mich.: Micah Copeland
Elgin: Jadance Black
Fort Hood, Texas: Shalei Okamura
Lawton/Fort Sill: Christopher Argyros, Madison Bailey, Brent Jenkins, Brittany Payette, John Alexander Young
Ryan: Laken DeBoard
Victoria, Texas: Tyler Coleman
Mathilde Winther, Hilleroed, Denmark, and Christopher Argyros, Lawton, were each named Sportsperson of the Year, in recognition of their participation in intramural activities.
Five student organizations were honored with the Ole Kim Spirit Award, recognizing their commitment to community service and creating student opportunities. They are the Accounting Club, Association of Computing & Technology Students, Cameron Association for Computer Machinery, Native American Student Association and Sigma Tau Delta.
