Community members invited to share opinions at Cameron University listening session

As part of Cameron University’s strategic planning process, the university will host a listening session for community members on Wednesday, November 19, at 5:30 p.m. The session will take place in the Mary Lou and W. Carey Johnson Auditorium, Room 111 in Ross Hall.

“We want to know what we’re doing that’s working, but we also need to hear about issues that we need to address,” says Cameron President Shane Hunt. “Community members ― a group that comprises one of our core constituencies ― are invited to share their satisfaction and/or concerns. We’ve already heard from our students, alumni, faculty and staff, who have given us significant feedback. Now it’s time for community members from throughout southwest Oklahoma to share their opinions. We’re ready to listen!”

Due to construction on 38th Street, attendees are advised to approach campus on SW 27th Street, turn west on SW Dr. Elsie Hamm Drive and then north on Black and Gold Blvd. Parking is available on the west side of Ross Hall adjacent to the Streich-Henry Tennis Complex as well as on the south side of Ross Hall, behind the Shepler Center.

A listening session for Duncan and surrounding communities will take place on Thursday, December 4.
