American Chemical Society Meeting

The American Chemical Society-Student Affiliate Chapter would like to formally invite you to hear Dr. Rigoberto Hernandez of Johns Hopkins University speak on Thursday, February 16th, 7:00pm. The event will be held at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. The Aggie bus will depart from Cameron University at approximately 4:30pm and plan on arriving for dinner at the Grand Buffet at 5:30pm. CU Young Learners Science Exposition
Sciences Complex · April 3-4, 2023
This event is designed to motivate and educate students from Kindergarten to 5th Grade in the world of sciences ranging from Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology, and others. Students are to make poster boards explaining their experiments and be delivered to the Sciences Complex on April 3rd and judging commences on April 4th.
Applied Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering Summer Academy
June 4-9, 2023
This is a five night residential academy for middle school girls who have an interest in mathematics, aerospace and other STEM disciplines. The program will introduce aspects of science engineering through the use of academic projects related to mathematics and aerospace engineering that are designed to stimulate creativity. There is no charge to participate. The application deadline is still open.

High School Summer Science Academy
Lawton CU campus · June 18-23 and 25-30, 2023
Do you want to learn how DNA is used to solve crimes through forensic science or to learn about the physics of amusement parks? You learn all this and more during NanoExplorers: A High School Summer Science Academy, a ten-day residential STEM academy at Cameron University. The program is limited to 24 participants. Applicants must be a rising freshman, sophomore or junior year of high school and must be an Oklahoma resident. Applications may be submitted beginning March 1, 2023. Application deadline is April 15, 2023.
