Welcome to the fall 2026 semester!

On behalf of the faculty and staff in the Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering, I am excited to welcome both our returning students and those joining us for the first time.

Whether you are taking your first chemistry course, beginning your engineering studies, or preparing to graduate, this semester brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge yourself. The knowledge and skills you develop in our classrooms and laboratories will prepare you not only for your next course, but also for careers that make a meaningful impact on society.

Our faculty are committed to your success. We encourage you to ask questions, attend office hours, participate in class, and take advantage of the many opportunities available outside the classroom. Undergraduate research, student organizations, tutoring, internships, and hands-on laboratory experiences are all valuable parts of your education and can help you build the skills employers and graduate schools seek.
