Bachelor of Arts in English Education
The BA in English Education prepares you to be a fully certified secondary (middle or high school) English Language Arts teacher in just 8 semesters of coursework. In addition to a strong foundation of coursework in language and literature, you’ll also take pedagogy classes that equip you for effective teaching. In the supervised student teaching semester, you’ll work with a seasoned local teacher and an outstanding faculty mentor as you gain real teaching experience in front of a classroom.
