In addition, faculty members mentor students and encourage them to actively engage with peers and teachers and with the community beyond Cameron. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to develop self-confidence and professional experience by participating in our performance program. The Department of Art, Music & Theatre features two performance facilities including a 125-seat recital hall and a 398-seat proscenium stage.
At the core of all programs are rigorous courses in theory and music history, linked with courses in keyboard skills designed to build students’ grasp of musical structure and musicianship.
