Transfer Process

All Transfer Admission Requirements and supporting documents must be completed and received by the appropriate deadlines.

You are eligible to transfer your SEVIS record if you have been admitted to a full-time program at Cameron, and:

You are currently in valid F-1 student status as an enrolled student at another school, or are within your 60-day grace period following the completion of your program

OR

You are currently in F-1 status on OPT, or within your 60-day grace period following the completion of your OPT.

Upon acceptance to Cameron University, Cameron will provide you with an official letter of acceptance. Admitted students will provide Cameron’s official letter of acceptance along with Cameron University transfer-in form to the international student representative at their current university. Ensure your current institution contacts Cameron University’s International Student Services to arrange a date to transfer your SEVIS record.

Once the prior university release your SEVIS record to Cameron University, Cameron will issue the student a new I-20 COE.
