Cameron University’s Upward Bound program is 100% federally funded through the United States Department of Education. Upward Bound is a TRIO program funded under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. The program is designed to generate the skills and motivation necessary for success in post-secondary education. Cameron University, in compliance with federal laws, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, age religion, disability, or status as a veteran in any of its policies, practices, or procedures. For the 2025-2026 school year, the Upward Bound program has received $366,867 to serve approximately 66 students in the targeted area. Currently, the program provides services to students attending Eisenhower High School, Lawton High School, MacArthur High School, and Lawton Virtual Academy within Lawton, Oklahoma.
