Ready to apply for admission to Cameron University but not sure what to do? Curious about the status of your pending application? CU’s Office of Admissions is making it easy to do both by offering virtual chat meetings with prospective students. Virtual chats can be scheduled with an admissions counselor by visiting www.cameron.edu/visit and selecting a date and time. Virtual meetings are offered at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Virtual meetings will take place over Zoom. Once the meeting has been scheduled, an admissions counselor will email a Zoom invitation to the individual requesting the meeting along with a confirmation of the day and time of the session.
Nineteen Cameron University education students have been accepted into the Upsilon Xi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi requires high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession. Only those who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions are granted membership.
The Cameron University Department of Mathematical Sciences is pleased to announce the acceptance of two new members into the university’s chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon (PME). PME is dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and recognition of students who successfully pursue mathematical understanding. Cameron's chapter, the third to be established in Oklahoma, was founded in 1979.

The artwork of Katherine Liontas-Warren, professor of art at Cameron University, will take art patrons on a visual tour of her life and musings in “Water & Land,” a solo exhibition presented at the Firehouse Art Center in Norman from March 13 through April 18. A reception celebrating Liontas-Warren’s work is scheduled for Friday, April 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Coffee with Cameron and Western, hosted by Cameron University and Western Oklahoma State College, returns to the Main Street location of White Buffalo Coffee Bar in Altus on Monday, March 30. The event is an opportunity for high school students, adults wishing to earn a degree, and veterans to learn about degree programs, resources, financial assistance and more at CU and Western.

When you’re Vince Morvillo, a highly successful business consultant and entrepreneur and the first blind person to win the prestigious National Ensign Sailing championship, you substitute vision for sight. Morvillo will present the keynote address at Cameron University’s sixth annual Inclusion and Leadership Summit, a one-day conference that aims to provide education and awareness about the importance of inclusion and diversity. The event, which takes place on Friday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the McMahon Centennial Complex, is open to the public at no charge.
