Cameron University piano students will demonstrate their keyboard prowess during Soiree VIX: Baroque Jewels, performing as both soloists and accompanists in a recital that will allow pianists, vocalists and other musicians to shine. Soiree XIV: Baroque Jewels is slated for Tuesday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the McCutcheon Recital Hall.
The Cameron University art program is pleased to present visiting artist Orna Feinstein, who will present “My Journey to the Past, Future and Beyond,” a visual lecture, as well as an exhibition of her artwork, on Friday, April 14. Both are open to the public at no charge.

A painting by Cameron University Professor Emeritus Katherine Liontas-Warren has been accepted by the Marblehead Arts Association for its upcoming Variations 2023 exhibition. The national juried show will feature the artwork of artists from across the country. “Autumn Sea in New England,” an oil on panel, will be on display from April 22 through June 18 at the Marblehead, Mass., gallery.
The Cameron University Bill W. Burgess Jr. Business Research Center (BBRC) has tapped Rep. Daniel Pae to lead a business forum examining challenges faced by youth on Thursday, April 13. The session, which is open to the public at no charge, will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Mary Lou and W. Carey Johnson Auditorium in Ross Hall. Refreshments will be served.
Cameron University invites adults who have earned college credit but were unable to complete a degree program to attend one of two virtual Reach Higher: Reconnect events designed to help working adults find the information and resources needed to complete a bachelor’s degree. The virtual sessions are slated for Tuesday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, April 13, from 5 to 6 p.m.
Cameron University’s Office of Veterans Affairs invites community members, including veterans, military service members and dependents, to its third Vet Fest, a two-day event that will highlight the upcoming 75th Anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948. The event will also present tips for veterans and more. Vet Fest takes place on Wednesday, April 5, and Thursday, April 6, on the second floor of the McMahon Centennial Complex (MCC).
Cameron University's annual CU Empowering Women in Leadership and STEM conference, aimed at strengthening the leadership skills of women, will present "Connecting with Different Personalities" on Thursday, April 6, in the McCasland Ballroom in the McMachon Centennial Complex. On-site registration will begin at 5 p.m., although pre-registration is recommended.
Active members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and dependents are invited to Cameron University’s Military Veterans Resource Fair slated for Wednesday, April 5, and Thursday, April 6. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first floor of the McMahon Centennial Complex. The building is located at University Drive and D Avenue. Visitor parking is available across the street.
