Hamm joins Cameron University as Vice President for Enrollment Management




Dr. Joy Hamm has joined Cameron University as Vice President for Enrollment Management. Hamm comes to CU from Young Harris College in Georgia, where she served as Vice President of Admissions & Financial Aid since July 2023. She brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education.

As Vice President for Enrollment Management, Hamm is responsible for the administration and leadership of the Office of Enrollment Management. She will also work collaboratively and creatively with other university executive administrators to maintain and improve a living and learning environment conducive to student success.

Areas of direct oversight include Admissions, Financial Assistance, Office of the Registrar, Academic Advising for new students, and Testing and Placement. Additionally, she has responsibility for the supervision, evaluation and training of staff in these areas as well as for the development and administration of the budget for the Office of Enrollment Management including the allocation of university scholarship and waiver funds.

Hamm earned a Doctor of Education degree in education administration from Georgia Southern University in 2012. She also has a Master of Arts degree in counselor education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and psychology from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
