Cameron University Testing Center earns national recertification




The Testing Center at Cameron University has been recertified by the National College Testing Association (NCTA). Originally certified in 2014, the Testing Center continues to meet the rigorous criteria required for recertification, which will be in place for five years.


“We are proud that our demonstrated compliance with NCTA’s national standards has resulted in recertification,” says Kyle Jarman, Director, CU Testing Center. “Our staff is committed to providing precise test administration while adhering to high test security standards.”


Cameron’s Testing Center was the first at an Oklahoma regional university to achieve certification. The facility is responsible for coordinating, administering and scoring a wide range of national, international and local tests for the Cameron community and the general public. Tests offered include the National and Residual ACT, CLEP, DSST, GRE Subject, LSAT, MAT, SAT and the Institutional TOEFL.


Additionally, the Testing Center administers Accuplacer Computerized Placement Tests (CPT) for English, reading and math for admission to Cameron University. The Testing Center also provides opportunities for gaining credit for certain college courses and furnishes proctors for computer-based and paper-based tests for Cameron and other universities.
