Cameron University Foundation encourages donations on Giving Tuesday

The Cameron University Foundation encourages supporters of Cameron University to participate in Giving Tuesday, a national day of giving. Giving Tuesday, which rallies people around the world to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen communities, takes place on Tuesday, December 2. All gifts received that day will be earmarked for Cameron’s CARE Fund, which provides support for students with immediate needs resulting from unexpected financial challenges.

Many Cameron students are facing unexpected challenges that force difficult choices in covering essential living expenses while staying focused on their education. Donor support allows the university to respond quickly through the CARE Fund, helping students continue learning and pursuing their dreams.

Gifts can be made online at https://www.cameron.edu/foundation, where the “Give Now” link will direct donors to a secure, online credit card form. Gifts can also be mailed to Cameron University Foundation, Office of University Advancement, 2800 W. Gore Blvd., Administration 245, Lawton, OK 73505.

“The Cameron University Foundation is excited to participate in Giving Tuesday for the ninth year in a row,” says Julie Cunningham, Director of Alumni and Development. “Giving Tuesday marks the start of the season of giving, and our focus on providing students with assistance with unforeseen emergencies mirrors this sentiment. Please join us on Tuesday, December 2, in kicking off the season of giving with the gift of opportunity.”

Donors whose employers offer matching gift programs are asked to visit https://www.cameron.edu/foundation/ways-to-give.
