The Cameron University Department of Art, Music and Theatre Arts has announced scholarship awards for students majoring in one of the department’s three academic disciplines, as well as one scholarship that is presented to a non-music major.
Art students who received a McMahon Foundation Scholarship are Kaylee Ataddlety and Makaivynn Stevenson, Anadarko; Isabel Bryant, Edmond; and Mallory Cajas and Mariah Martinez, Lawton.
Tuition waivers were awarded to art students Adrian Prudhomme and John Lasker-Hyman, Lawton. Ashley Miller, Chickasha, received a housing waiver.
Music students receiving McMahon Foundation Scholarships are Ryley Balius, Okmulgee; Brittany Hall, St. Louis, Mo.; Haylie Kousman, Killeen, Texas; and Matthew Hogg and Kaitlan Kaulaity, Lawton.
Arath Javier, Lawton, received the Marjorie Farrell Endowed Scholarship, while Savannah Stephens, Lawton, was honored with the Elizabeth Adcock Endowed Scholarship, which is awarded to a non-music major who is a member of the concert band.
Darnell Collins, Tacoma, Wash.; Kirstin Dunn, Stick Bridge, Ga., and Lillie Wright, Lawton, received the Philip S. and Aldine Cash Endowed Scholarship in Music. The Joel Wilkinson Scholarship in Music was awarded to Collin Fallon, Lawton, and the Linda Doane Scholarship in Music was presented to Seth McCoy, Lawton. The Nancy Alexander Endowed Scholarship in Music was awarded to Chelsea Mitchell, Cache.
Music students receiving tuition waivers were Sophia Avila, Marino Valley, Calif.; Divina D’Haiti, Honolulu, Hawaii; Winston Hartley, Lawton; and Cynthia Vansant, Cache. Housing waivers were awarded to Lillie Wright, Lawton; and Ryley Balius, Okmulgee.
Aliah Weber and Mvnta July, both of Lawton, were recognized as outstanding music minors.
July, a theatre major, also received a McMahon Foundation Scholarship, as did fellow theatre students Skylar Edwards, Alexzander Ernest, Tamia Johnson and Rose Landrum, all of Lawton. Johnson also received a housing waiver.
Gabriella Aguilar, Abbey Kirby and Rhiannon Pettigrew, all of Lawton, received tuition waivers.
