Go for Gold 2030

In order to provide the best possible educational experience to Cameron University’s students and the communities we serve, we utilize a long-term, strategic planning process to guide our growth, development and the allocation of resources. At the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester, the Board of Regents for the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University – our governing board – approved “Go for Gold 2030.” We are pleased to share this newest strategic plan with our students, employees, alumni and supporters.

This plan was developed over the course of an entire year as the administration worked with stakeholders to determine how we build the Cameron we want for our students and community in 2030 and beyond.

The university expresses its gratitude to an exceptional Strategic Planning Steering Committee listed on page 28 of the document, whose great work made this process such a successful and positive step forward for our university.
