Internship Opportunities

ART Internship Descriptions

ART 4733 Art Portfolio Capstone

This course is the internship experience and program requirement for students who are pursuing a concentration in Graphic Design. It is an opportunity for students to prepare a professional portfolio of works created while working for a client or an organization in a structured and professional environment. The internship placement is facilitated by the Art Faculty and partnering companies and organizations. Internship placements are sometimes with Cameron Departments and Offices (Campus Life) and are paid internships through the work study program. Off campus internship placements are also usually paid positions by the partnering company.

A contract form is provided to the internship partner which provides details of the internship requirements, as well as the course syllabus. Evaluation forms are completed and submitted on a regular basis by the supervisor of the internship position.

Students enroll in this course usually during their senior year, or sometimes in the spring or summer semester of their junior year.

    • (strategy, concept, design, production, execution)
  • 20% Evaluation
    • Internship supervisor or faculty supervisor
