CU in Psychology virtual information session to cover career opportunities and more




Individuals interested in earning psychology degree from Cameron University will have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities, admissions, financial assistance and more during CU in Psychology. The free, virtual information session is slated for Thursday, April 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

“Earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology opens the doors to a wide ranging variety of career opportunities,” says Calix. “While some career paths may require a master’s degree, others do not. Social work, educational psychology, human resources, research, and even communication and media are career fields in which psychology degrees are beneficial.”

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree program focuses on numerous areas of psychology including mental health, social psychology, developmental psychology, and cognitive psychology, with an emphasis on conducting psychological research. Graduates of this program typically go on to careers in psychological research, or counseling or family therapy after completing a graduate degree.
