Cameron University Foundation launches year-end campaign to benefit Aggie Fund

On the heels of a successful Giving Tuesday, the Cameron University Foundation has launched its year-end fundraising campaign. As with Giving Tuesday, donations will be earmarked for the Aggie Fund, which is dedicated to ensuring all students have the opportunity to achieve a Cameron education.

The Aggie Fund provides critical support for the university’s greatest area of need. It’s where every gift matters, and helps the university bridge the gap between tuition revenues and operating costs. The Aggie Fund provides students with scholarships, provides faculty support and helps to enhance campus facilities to provide better learning opportunities.

“A gift to the Aggie Fund, no matter how big or small, is a powerful source of funding that allows our students to achieve their dreams,” says Tiffany Smith, director of development. “I am proud of all that our students have accomplished this year, yet I know that some of those accomplishments would not have been possible were it not for the critical financial assistance received from the Aggie Fund. Cameron University is committed to student success. By helping our students overcome financial hardships, we provide them the opportunity to focus their energy on pursuing their dreams and continuing their education.”

Supporters may designate their donation to a department, program, or scholarship at Cameron University or choose to leave their gift unrestricted so that it may be used in the greatest area of need.

Gifts can be made online at https://www.cameron.edu/foundation/aggie-fund where the “Give Now” link will direct donors to a secure, online credit card form. Gifts can also be mailed to Cameron University Foundation, Office of University Advancement, 2800 W. Gore Blvd., Administration 245, Lawton, OK 73505.
