Miller Analogies Test (MAT)

The MAT is given online in the Testing Center by appointment only. Register online at the link below to make an appointment at least seven days prior to your desired test date.

The MAT is a high-level mental ability test requiring the solution of problems stated as analogies. It consists of 120 partial analogies that are to be completed in 60 minutes. The NEW OFFICIAL MAT Practice can be found at https://tpc-etesting.com/matopt/Default.aspx

On the day of the exam, arrive at the Testing Center, fifth floor, North Shepler, at least ten minutes before your scheduled exam. The fee is $80.00 and can be paid online with a credit card at the time of registration. Two forms of I.D. are required, one must be a photo I.D. Acceptable form of a photo I.D. include a driver's license, military I.D., or current passport.

GRE

For those interested in taking the GRE General CBT (computer-based test), the closest CBT center is Oklahoma City. You can call 1-800-GRE-CAll or the OKC center directly, (405) 947-6248, to schedule a test. You will need to go to www.gre.org for registration, test dates, and information.

For those interested in taking the GRE Subject test they are administered at Cameron University once a year. You will need to go to http://www.gre.org for exact test dates, registration, study material and information.


LSAT

The LSAT (Law School Admission Test) is administered on the Cameron campus. The test is usually administered in the Testing Center, North Shepler 5th floor. Registration, test dates, fees can be found at https://www.lsac.org/lsat/taking-lsat

Please note: The LSAT is currently unavailable at Cameron University.  Students can register for at-home testing with LSAT directly at LSAT-Flex.

National ACT (American College Test)


The National ACT is administered on the Cameron campus in the Science Complex. Registration, test dates, fees, and registration deadlines are available at www.act.org.

SAT

The SAT (Scholastic Admission Test) is administered on the Cameron campus. The tests are usually administered in the Testing Center. Registration, test dates, fees, and registration deadlines are available at www.sat.org.

Proctoring Exams for Other Institutions

As a service to students and the community, the Testing Center administers paper-based and computer-based tests for students at other institutions on a space available basis by appointment.

To register to have an exam proctored, please register here.

These services are available Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (For one hour exams your appointment time must be no later than 3:45 p.m.; appointment time changes accordingly, for longer exams.) Temporary Parking Permits are available by request.

Photo ID (driver's license, military ID, passport, etc) is required at time of testing.

The proctoring fee is $20.00. Testers can pay online with credit card at time of registration or in person at the Testing Center with a check or money order made payable to Cameron University. The Testing Center does not accept cash. Active duty military will not be charged. (Current Military ID must be shown).

The student is responsible for contacting their home institution informing them that s/he will be testing at Cameron University. Please note that the student is also responsible for making sure that all of the information for their tests is sent to us before we can administer any tests.
