LibrARY iNSTRUCTION sESSIONS
Cameron University offers a selection of instruction sessions in a variety of formats. Please read the session options below and fill out the Reservations for Library Instruction Form linked below to schedule your classes.
Please note that we offer classes in-person at the library and remotely via zoom. We are also able to travel off campus to teach.
We only have a single instructor for library sessions, so we greatly appreciate as much notice as possible.

Session Options
Beginner Research Session
- This option covers the basics of source/information types, searching and how to use the library.
Advanced Research Session
- This option delves more deeply into searching and evaluating sources.
Guided Library Instruction Session
- Emphasizes searching, and allows students time to work on their own assignments with help from the librarian.
Hybrid Session
- Allows for a more tailored experience. Please email kahall@cameron.edu to customize your session.
Follow-up Session
- Provides students with an opportunity to ask questions and go over areas of concern.
