Student On-Campus Employment
The goal of On-Campus Employment at Cameron University is:
- To provide income to help offset the cost of a college education
- To provide the student with a valuable work experience
- To provide support to on campus employers
Student employment jobs are considered to be an important piece of the student’s professional development. In addition to learning valuable life skills and beginning to build their resumes, students are given the opportunity to connect with Cameron University on a professional level. Student employees are very valuable to each and every departments operation.
The intent of the Student Employment Office at Cameron University is to enhance student learning and assist with departmental student employment needs by providing meaningful work experiences.
The Student Employment Coordinator maintains the list of on campus employment opportunities for both Institutional and Federally funded positions that the student can apply for. This list of open positions can be found at https://aggieaccess.cameron.edu. Enter your student user name and password and click on the “My Info” tab to review the on-campus student employment positions under Student Quick Links.

Workforce Readiness
The Work-based Learning Experiences Coordinator (WLEC) directs the CU Learn to Earn program. Cameron University students are provided with training and workshops that foster professional development by helping students develop job skills and become more prepared for the workplace. The work-based learning experiences that the CU Learn to Earn program supports are on-campus work-studies, job shadowing opportunities, and internships. Work-based learning provides students with real-life work experiences where they can apply academic and technical skills and develop their employability.
Workforce Readiness assists students in achieving their career goals. From interview tips to ideas on networking, let us help in your career journey. Workforce Readiness provides guidance to students in a variety of formats to include an online self-assessment program, resume and cover letter preparation, interviewing skills and career related workshops.
