Help us slow the spread of communicable illness.

COVID-19

COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, has been classified by the World Health Organization as a global pandemic. Worldwide, cases now number in the millions, and there confirmed cases in every state in the U.S., as well as in every county in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Comanche County Health Department are constantly monitoring the situation.

Cameron University continues to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak for its potential impact on our students and staff and take action to mitigate spread of the virus. The Comanche County Health Department and the Oklahoma State Health Department continue to be helpful with planning assistance and timely information. If the university’s operational status changes significantly, students and employees will be notified through the campus Emergency Communication System. Less significant changes will be distributed through campus email.

Stay Healthy

We encourage our students and employees to commit to the Cameron University Health Priorities and engage in good health practices to minimize the chance of illness. In addition, we strongly encourage both Cameron students and employees to check with their health care providers, state health authorities and the Centers for Disease Control for current information on the COVID-19 pandemic.
