Student Organizations

Business Student Advisory Board

The Cameron University Department of Business Student Advisory Board is comprised of declared business majors selected to serve as a voice of the Business students, to advise the Department Chair and Dean on issues of importance for future planning and decision making, and to liaison between the student body and the Business administration.

Accounting Club

The purpose of the accounting and Business Club is to encourage growth and academic excellence, as well as bring a closer relationship among those who are business and accounting majors. We sponsor field trips to various Accounting and Business offices; we closely work with the Oklahoma Society of CPAs, Association of Government Accountants and the Oklahoma Accountancy Board; we are actively involved in volunteer efforts, university projects, and various community services.  For more information, please contact Professor Lonzanida at bernadel@cameron.edu.

Delta Mu Delta

Delta Mu Delta was founded as a national organization in 1913 by five professors in the School of Commerce, Finance and Accounting at New York University. They believed that recognition should be given to outstanding students of business administration subjects. Delta Mu Delta was incorporated in 1952; and in 1963 was admitted to membership in the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). In 1992 the Society established an affiliation with the Association of College Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) whereby future chapter establishment occurs only at colleges and universities with business programs accredited by the ACBSP at the baccalaureate/graduate level.  For more information, please contact Dr. Treadwell at gregoryt@cameron.edu.

CU-SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management)

The Society for Human Resource Management at Cameron University is an active student chapter offering students scholarships, conferences, HR news, research reports, and professional networking events.
