575 - Respiratory Care Curriculum Map

Courses

Students will operate equipment commonly used in respiratory care procedures. Students will perform and evaluate common clinical respiratory procedures. Students will apply gas laws in a variety of situations. Students will recognize the logarithmic nature of the pH scale and identify regions as acidic, basic or neutral.

Students will achieve a cumulative score of at least 92 out of 140 questions on a NBRC SAE TMC examination by the end of their second full semester of the Respiratory Therapy Program.
