Most devices that have networking support are allowed on the residential network. Personal wireless routers are permitted in North and South Shepler in rooms, but in the future, that may change. Wireless routers and not simple access points should allow for more personal devices such as wireless printers, gaming systems, DVD players, Chromecast, Roku, AppleTV, etc. to function as long as they are all associated with the wireless router.

Wireless routers are currently prohibited in Cameron Village.

The CU Wireless Network that is available in common areas, lounges, and academic buildings is an enterprise level network that is not configured to allow once device to talk to another device for security reasons.
