Cameron Students posing for a picture on Campus

Sciences Complex Gallery

The Sciences Complex Art Gallery, located on the first floor of the Sciences Complex building, represents a project that was initiated in 2013 as a collaboration between faculty in art and faculty in biology. The primary goal of this collaboration has always been to provide an additional venue on campus where Cameron University art students could display their creative works. But bringing varied forms and styles of artistic expression into the Sciences Complex on a regular basis intentionally creates a very different atmosphere in the building, and engages students in an examination of art who might not otherwise be exposed to the wide variety of styles and interpretations in art that we have enjoyed since 2013. Usually there will be one to two different displays each fall and spring semester. Each exhibit is accompanied by a reception for the artist, along with an interpretative presentation by the artist.
