This is the first stage in CU's Career Pathway Project. This is the time to take classes in your major and connect with students who have similar career goals. Talk to your advisor about your career goals and take advantage of opportunities to connect with career professionals who visit campus.

Take a career assessment on Focus2 to help you narrow down your choice of major. You can also set up an appointment with the Student Enrichment Center (SEC) to learn about different careers. 

Oklahoma's 100 Critical Occupations

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission identifies occupations that represent key areas of labor market demands that drive economic growth in the state. These occupations have been determined based on current labor market data, industry demand, and strategic economic priorities within the state. This list of occupations is intended to guide workforce development efforts, inform educational programming, and align resources to meet the needs of these high-priority occupations. Most of Cameron University's offered degrees align with a critical occupation on that list.
