testing assistant (evening shift)

The Cameron University Testing Center is seeking a Student Assistant for the Spring 2026 semester to join our dedicated team.

Please note: We are specifically seeking candidates who are available to work Monday through Thursday evenings, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Applicants who meet this availability will be given priority consideration.

Position Details

• Hours: 10–20 hours per week

• Schedule: Primarily Monday–Thursday, 5:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

• Status: Student employment position

• Eligibility: Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the semester

Responsibilities

The Student Assistant will:

• Assist with proctoring online and in-person exams

• Check students in and out of the testing lab

• Help maintain a secure, distraction-free testing environment

• Provide professional and courteous customer service to students and faculty

• Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, scanning, and shredding

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

• Basic technical troubleshooting skills preferred

• Must be willing to work during assigned evening hours
