Student Worker - Office for University Advancement

The Office for University Advancement is looking for a dependable and organized student worker to provide general office support and assist with event preparation and activities. This position is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional office environment while developing skills in organization, communication, customer service, and event coordination.

The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to learn, works well independently and as part of a team, and is comfortable helping with a variety of tasks and projects.

What You’ll Do:

● Assist with day-to-day office operations, including filing, copying, scanning, and organizing materials.

● Provide general assistance to staff, students, visitors, and other members of the university community.

● Help prepare for events, including organizing materials, assembling supplies, setting up spaces, and assisting with cleanup.

● Assist with event registration, check-in, guest support, and other activities as needed.

● Help maintain organized office files, supplies, and work areas.

● Assist with communications, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.

● Work collaboratively with staff and other student workers to help ensure office and event activities run smoothly.

● Has basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar programs.
