Student Office Assistant - Department of Mathematical Sciences
POSITION
The Cameron University Department of Mathematics is seeking a student office assistant. This student will work directly with the Administrative Assistant and office staff to perform a variety of tasks. Duties will include running errands, photocopying, answering the phone, taking messages, and other duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the department.
The position will offer 10 - 20 hours per week. Hours will be flexible according to your class schedule and will
depend on the needs of the Math Department Office. The office assistant duties will include running errands,

JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
All currently enrolled students may apply. Student must be available to work Monday-Friday during the lunch hour. Applicants should possess a basic knowledge of computers and office procedures, plus effective oral and written communication skills. The ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and a willingness to work as a team member is required. Applicant must be able to adhere to a strict policy of confidentiality and willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong preference will be given to those students with excellent Math skills, proficiency in computer technology. This position will enable the successful applicant to learn an important skill set while developing leadership and team experiences useful in future endeavors.
