Tutor - duncan campus

Cameron University - Duncan is seeking a tutor to be available 5-10 hours per week. Pay is 10.00 per hour. Hours will be flexible according to your class schedule and will depend on the needs of CU-Duncan students. The tutor will provide individual and/or small group tutoring. We would prefer a math or science tutor, but other subject areas will be considered. The tutor facilitates learning as a guide and coach to assist students to become successful, independent learners. A tutor must demonstrate the ability to quickly establish rapport and communicate well with a diverse student body and maintain patience as they support and guide students toward success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum grade of "B" or better is required in prior courses related to the tutoring subject. Students must attach an unofficial transcript showing proof with their application.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Grade of "A" or better is required in prior courses related to the tutoring subject. Strong preference will be given to those students who have had previous experience as a tutor or are in the Education Program.
