2016 CU Engineering and Applied Mathematics Summer Academy

June 19-24 and June 26-July 1, 2016

The ten-day academy will feature participation by 24 highly motivated and talented high school students who reside in Oklahoma. The academy will introduce students to basic principles of aerospace engineering and will use mathematics in problem-solving and design activities. The academy’s primary goal is to provide high school students with enrichment programs and attract them to STEM-related fields. Students will engage in hands-on activities in mechanics, robotics, and rockets. While partnering with Fort Sill and Cameron’s NASA program, students will be exposed to possible career opportunities with the government and private industry.
