Staff Awards
The Staff Awards fall under the umbrella of Cameron University Employee Excellence Awards which recognize deserving faculty and staff who have contributed significantly to students' academic career. Click on the name of any award below to nominate a current Cameron University staff member for an award.
The deadline for nominations is March 10, 2025.
Staff Award for Excellence in Campus Stewardship
The Staff Award for Excellence in Campus Stewardship will recognize a member of the Cameron University classified or administrative staff who makes significant contributions to the campus community through one or more of the following criteria:
- Works to improve any area of university operations
- Utilizes existing resources to operate in a more effective and efficient manner
- Proposes innovative ideas to operate in a more effective and efficient manner
Staff Award for Excellence in Service
The Staff Award for Excellence in Service will recognize a dedicated member of the Cameron University classified or administrative staff who has made exemplary contributions to the campus or community through one or more of the following criteria:
- Exhibits outstanding customer service
- Strengthens the community or region through volunteerism
- Fosters diversity, creativity, and community spirit both on and off campus
- Encourages cooperation and collaboration through effective communication
Staff Award for Excellence in Student Success
The Staff Award for Excellence in Student Success will recognize a member of the Cameron University classified or administrative staff who works to promote student success through one or more of the following criteria:
- Advocates and enhances ideas and opportunities available on campus
- Assists students for success outside the classroom
- Encourages student responsibility and student engagement in the community
- Empowers students to achieve optimal learning
