The Office of Teaching and Learning coordinates a number of academic support facilities on the Lawton campus, many of them dedicated to offering help with specific content area courses that students often take as part of the general education curriculum. Office of Teaching and Learning Tutoring Facilities are free and open to all students.
CENTER FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS
The Center for Academic Success offers tutoring and academic coaching to help students develop effective study strategies. Center staff can assist with reading assignments, test preparation, note-taking, time management, and other skills relevant to most academic subject areas.

CENTER FOR WRITERS
The Center for Writers offers tutoring for writing-related assignments at all levels, from developmental writing courses to Master’s thesis work. Center for Writers’ staff can assist with such concerns as English grammar and mechanics, clarity, choosing or narrowing a topic, and organizing writing assignments.

The Math Lab offers tutoring in mathematics to assist students at various levels of mathematical skill, ranging from pre-algebra to calculus. The Mathematics Lab staff can assist with assignments, test preparation, and understanding equations and problems.

JENEANNE LAWSON TUTORING CENTER
The Jeneanne Lawson Tutoring Center offers evening tutoring in English and mathematics as posted. Conveniently located across from the Academic Computing Lab in the Academic Commons, the Center is staffed by student tutors available to help students who may be studying or taking courses during evening hours.

Students can also access any of these labs from a distance via Zoom tutoring during normal operating hours.
Students attending classes in Duncan may utilize the Duncan campus Math and Writing Labs. Hours vary. Students may call 877-282-3626 for more information.
Cameron students also receive 8 hours of free tutoring each semester through tutor.com.
