How to be successful for your tutoring appointment

  • Appointments are about an hour long. If you need help with more than 1 assignment or area, please schedule more        than 1 appointment.
  • When creating an appointment, be specific. For example, do not just say physics. Explain what equation or area            you specifically need help in.
  • If you are working on a paper or having a paper reviewed, bring in the rubric for the assignment.
  • If you are working on a homework assignment, study guide, etc. bring in your textbook and notes.
  • Bring in any needed tools to accomplish the assignment. For example, a graphing calculator. You can check out           most items from the library. Just make sure you already have what you need so you are not using part of your                  appointment time obtaining the tools needed.

If you have any questions before your appointment, please call or email us so we can help!
