Student Assistant - CEFL

The Department of Communication, English and Foreign Languages at Cameron University is seeking Student Assistant(s) who is able to work up to 10-20 hours per week. Duties will include but are not limited to entering of computer data, assisting in bulk mailings, copying, filing, shredding, assisting with various projects, posting information around campus, greeting visitors to the office, answering phone calls, and other related duties as assigned. Our Office position is open to all majors except students who are majors in the Department of Communication, English, and Foreign Languages. PREFERENCE will be given to applicants who can work during the lunch hour. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must be punctual, dependable and possess a positive attitude. Applicants must have completed Composition I and II and have a 3.0 or above GPA. Applicants should have good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and have good oral and written communication skills. Applicants should be able to focus and pay close attention to detail while completing tasks. Applicants should be able to file alphabetically and chronologically. Applicants must be able to answer phone in a clear, professional and courteous manner and adhere to strict policy of confidentiality.
