Title IX Committee for Intercollegiate Athletics

The Title IX Committee for Intercollegiate Athletics (1) Develops and monitors the Department of Athletics Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Plan(s): Identify issues, problems and solutions, Seek feedback from student-athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators, Monitor progress on goals, Recommend adjustments to the plan as needed, Communicate to the campus and community; (2) Reviews relevant reports prepared by the Department of Athletics to meet NCAA requirements to include: Annual government report Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) Report (October), Annual NCAA/EADA report (January).

Membership

Faculty: One faculty Athletics Representative.

Students: One student athlete appointed by Athletic Director; one student appointed by the Student Government Association President.

Administrators: Senior Women's Administrator (Committee Chair); Equal Opportunity Officer/Title IX Coordinator (ex-officio, non-voting); Inclusion and Student Success Coordinator (ex-officio, non-voting); Vice President for Academic Affairs or designee; one member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee; one Coach appointed by the Athletic Director.
