Research Committee

The Research Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the VPAA and is responsible for encouraging and assisting faculty and students in research activities by (1) disseminating information regarding funding of research proposals, (2) providing assistance with the writing and review of research proposals, and (3) reviewing and making recommendations regarding University-funded research. 

Membership

Faculty: One elected by and from the Faculty Senate; four elected at large by the Faculty.

Students: Two undergraduate students appointed by the Student Government Association President; one graduate student selected by the Graduate Council.

Administrators: The Vice President for Academic Affairs or his/her representative (ex-officio, nonvoting).
