Nominations are open for the Cameron University Pickaxe Award. The Pickaxe Award is given to two full-time administrative or classified employees who have made an extraordinary effort for the University. The award recipient will have made a contribution and/or commitment resulting in a significant difference to other employees, students or visitors, or whose commitment to their job responsibilities, department, or the university stands out as a clear example to all other employees. The award recipient must have been employed full-time at least one year at CU. Winners receive a $1,000 stipend and a commemorative award that will be presented in December.

The nomination deadline is 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024.
