Herbert S. Orr, M.D. Endowed Scholarship

Established in December 2007 for the benefit of students who are at least a sophomore and pursuing a Baccalaureate degree at Cameron.

Scholarship Criteria

  1. Recipient must be a sophomore or higher in classification and have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better to receive the scholarship for the first semester of award.
  2. Once appointed, a recipient may retain the scholarship until degree completion if they remain a full-time student; meet the 3.0 GPA criterion for retention and make satisfactory progress toward degree completion, however, no student will receive more than six semesters of scholarship support.
  3. Quality of academic performance shall be more important than financial need.
