Carney Math Scholarship

The purpose of this endowed scholarship fund is to financially assist students enrolled in Mathematical Sciences Department in completing their studies for a baccalaureate or graduate degree.

Scholarship Criteria

  1. The recipient must be a Mathematics or Mathematics Education Major.
  2. To initially receive the scholarship, student must possess a retention GPA or Mathematical Sciences courses GPA of 3.0.
  3. Once appointed, a recipient may retain the scholarship until degree completion if they remain a full-time student and maintain a 3.0 minimum retention GPA on a 4-point scale. However, no student will receive more than eight semesters of scholarship support.
